Marché at Midtown

Location: Tallahassee, Florida
Size: 33,000 SF
Year: 2020

Marché at Midtown is a redevelopment of a 5-story office building that was originally constructed in the 1960s. This structure is now a modern, minimalist design that shouts to the changing modernization of the existing midtown area. The design included deconstructing the existing entry and building out the entire face of the building on the bottom two floors to allow for more glass, and a grand two-story entry. The building currently houses a wine & food bar, as well as a specialty fitness gym, with other tenants underway. An additional characteristic of the site is an outparcel building that was also modernized and ties into the main building design which now houses a local and popular upscale taco & tequila restaurant. The site also went for a major change on the Thomasville roadside that includes a more walk-friendly entry, addition of a courtyard for outdoor utilization, and off the street walk up appeal for the new urban walkable-friendly corridor through the midtown area.
