A design-build pre-engineered metal building for Metal Fabrication and Sales, this new mixed-use facility in Tallahassee is conceived as a bold expression of the company’s core mission—custom design and fabrication of metal products. The project combines approximately 12,500 SF of warehouse space with over 3,000 SF of modern office and retail areas, creating a highly functional, multi-purpose environment that supports both production and business operations under one roof.
The building’s architectural identity is defined by its striking all-black metal exterior and contemporary industrial aesthetic. A prominent glass curtain wall wraps three sides of the retail area volume, introducing transparency and contrast to the solid warehouse mass while creating a strong visual connection between interior workspace and exterior activity. The mono-slope roof further reinforces the modern profile, while large sliding hangar doors provide efficient access to the warehouse for fabrication and material handling operations. Together, these elements create a cohesive facility that is both utilitarian and visually distinctive, reflecting the precision and craftsmanship at the heart of the client’s work.
