Creating a new cornerstone building for downtown Tallahassee, the Gateway Center anchors one of the busiest intersections in the city. The program consisted of creating over 12,000 SF of future tenant shell space on each floor and nearly 5,000 SF on the terrace level. An underground parking area below can park approximately 50 automobiles.
The building’s exterior brick finish was intended to reflect historic nature of downtown, while adding a new contemporary feel to the district. The engineered steel-framed building also included an underground and elevated parking area, complete with a separate street entrance to the lower level.
