The Taproot Agency

The Taproot Agency, established in Tallahassee, relocated their business and now takes up residence across the street from Tallahassee’s popular art district, Railroad Square. The existing structure contained exposed wooden joists, exposed concrete block walls, existing concrete floors, and rolling garage doors, as well as other unique characteristics. These existing characteristics were vital in creating an industrial space with brightly polished beige concrete floors, open plenum ceiling with exposed ductwork, and black details and accents. The exterior was given new life with new paint and a large-scale mural that nods to the arts district that this structure resides in. The office space is utilized daily by staff and the interior color scheme mimics the company’s branding.
